From humble beginnings as button badge suppliers to bands in Bristol nearly 50 years ago, WCMA Ltd has grown to become the multi-award winning sustainable British manufacturer of all the printed and personalised items you will find on this website, selling our products only through professional distributors.
With our factory based in Herefordshire now for over 20 years, we employ over 60 skilled, knowledgeable, dedicated and talented people who genuinely care about being the best manufacturer we can be, whatever we are making.
For us it’s about continuous improvement in everything we do to be a company that, together with all its stakeholders, drives a positive movement for change to a more sustainable future.
Sustainability might be the latest talking point in our industry but for us it’s not a recent thing. We embarked on this journey over 20 years ago when we started making all our moulded plastic components from recycled plastics, which was hardly known of in our industry back then, but was the right thing to do.
Since then, we’ve taken the lead on everything from stopping airfreight of finished product by bringing manufacturing back to the UK, to plastics free packaging and the introduction of natural materials into mainstream merchandise.

From our employees and local community to national projects and organisations, we believe in doing the right thing for people where we can. In 2024, through A Good Thing and direct donations, we supported over 80 UK charities and our “1p per item for People & Planet” scheme provides support in the developing world.
Better for the Planet
We make products without air miles and a lower carbon footprint that also contribute to tree planting and nature based projects in the UK and overseas. Over 10,000 trees are planted this way every year. From the sale of factory waste and our 1p for People & Planet scheme, we offset over 1000 tonnes of CO2e each year in Gold Standard and verified projects through Ecologi.
Inside Our Factory
At the heart of our business is a deep commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability. Every product we make is designed to meet the highest safety standards, fully compliant with REACH and UK regulations, and manufactured under ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications. From design to delivery, all manufacture, decoration and finishing is done in house, so we have complete quality control throughout every stage of production.
We’re proud to be industry pioneers, leading the way with plastics-free packaging, personalised product options, and cutting-edge, eco-conscious materials. We continually invest in advanced equipment and infrastructure to ensure our UK-based factory remains a hub of responsible, future-ready production.
Our sustainability commitment goes beyond products. We actively reduce waste, favour recyclable and responsibly sourced materials, and operate with minimal environmental impact, heating our factory with biomass, using low-energy lighting, and limiting paper usage by 75%. We treat our customers, employees, and suppliers with fairness and respect, supporting secure local employment and the UK economy. And when products reach the end of their life, we offer a return service to ensure they are properly recycled, because sustainability doesn’t stop at delivery.
